This guide will walk you through logging in to BladePRO - perfect for first-time users or anyone who needs a quick refresher.

Orders

While most orders connect automatically from your connected sales channels to BladePRO, you'll sometimes need to create orders manually. This article shows you how to create a new order directly in BladePRO.

All orders in BladePRO are assigned a status depending on what stage they are at in the warehouse cycle. You can locate a specific order from the Order List page.

Address Lookup helps you to find complete shipping addresses using partial information, allowing you to fix invalid addresses that are blocking your orders from processing.

Splitting a goodsout shipment is the process of dividing an order into separate shipments. This may be required if not enough stock is available in a single warehouse for an order.

Some products automatically upload documents to an order automatically when they are added to an order, but in some cases you’ll need to upload attachments them manually.

Tags and attributes help to classify and categorise orders in BladePRO. They can be used to flag specific features about an order and filter searches in the Order List page.

Attributes are specific characteristics, traits or data points that help to further identify and categorise an order, such as if the composition of the order is of single, double or mixed SKUs.

Holding an order pauses it from moving forward in the warehouse cycle. Orders can be placed on hold or taken off manually if required.

Products

This guide will walk you through the steps for adding a new product (SKU) into BladePRO.

Adding a new product

A bundle (also called an Existing inventory or Virtual Product) is a group of existing products which are ordered together. They may be used seasonally to streamline warehouse operations for popular combinations of products. When you create a bundle in BladePRO, you're defining which products should be packaged and shipped together as a single unit.

Product classification tags help dispatchers handle products correctly by highlighting attributes like fragility or perishability. These tags ensure the warehouse knows how to properly store, handle, and ship each product in your inventory.

Returns

If a customers wishes to return a product they can initiate the return themselves through the Returns Portal. This is automatically captured by BladePRO so that when the item is received at the warehouse it can be easily processed. However a return may need to be created manually.

Inventory Management

The Product Stock page gives you a full breakdown of your inventory, listing on-hand stock, available stock and expected stock, so you can easily monitor your inventory levels.

Landed prices are the total cost of a product once it has arrived at the warehouse, including shipping, handling and customs fees.

Allocations are used to reserve available stock in the warehouse to fulfill a pending order. Viewing allocations can be useful to see a list of all pending orders including a specific product.

Batch codes are unique identifiers used to group items that are produced, received, or handled together. You can view a product’s batch codes on the Product Stock page in BladePRO.

Analytics

The Reports area in BladePRO provides access to flexible datasets across a range of records that help you analyse performance trends and provide an interface to export data for deeper analysis. Here's everything you need to know about Reports.

The BladePRO Dashboard pulls together warehouse, sales, inventory, and purchasing data so you can see an overview of relevant information at a glance, without jumping between multiple reports. Here's how to find your dashboards on BladePRO.

Your Dashboard is made up of a variety of data widgets which can be customised to suit your needs. Change the view of your Dashboards page by selecting which data fields are visible and organising the page layout, making it easier to see the data which matters most.

You are able to create multiple dashboards in BladePRO to help your keep data organised and monitor KPIs at a glance.

Settings

Price lists on BladePRO are .CSV documents listing your products and their unit cost. Price lists can be used to make orders for more efficient by pre-populating SKU unit costs for an order. You may need to have specific price lists for retailers with pre-agreed pricing.  

Managing Price Lists

The Tag Manager allows you to view and manage all of the tags which are used to categorise products and orders across your account in BladePRO. From the Tag Manager you can see usage data, edit tags and delete them if needed.

Harmonised System (HS) Codes are a numerical identifier used to classify and identify products during customs for international shipping. HS Codes are mandatory for all commercial international shipments to ensure the correct calculation for any duties or taxes and prevent unauthorised restricted shipments.

Instead of inputting address information manually for an order, the Address Book allows you to pre-populate the address and contact information for a previously saved contact, streamlining the order process. From the Address Book you can add, remove or edit contacts.
